Our Deluxe Mineral Deposit & Light Scratch Removal Kit comes with both...our 6" premium felt and backing plate that can cover large areas quickly, and it also comes with our smaller 3" premium felt and backing plate which is perfect for small areas and tight corners, which makes it ideal for automobiles, boats, RV's and smaller areas. Our premium felt is guaranteed to remove water spots, light scratches, mineral deposits and any other type of light surface damage on glass. The 8 ounce packet of cerium oxide is enough to do 40-50 regular size panels depending on how thick you mix it. This kit includes:

1 - 4 Oz. Packet of our Cerium Oxide

1 - 6" Premium Polishing Felt

1 - 6" Backing Plate

1 - 3" Premium Polishing Felt

1 - 3" Backing Plate

PLEASE NOTE: This kit is capable of removing light scratches, but this is something that requires experience to determine. If you are not sure if a scratch is too deep, we recommend using our "Professional Scratch Removal Kit". Also, we recommend using an angle grinder (buffer/polisher), but if you are using a regular drill, you will need a 5/8" thread drill chuck adapter.

  • Polishing work best between 2000 - 5000. This kit includes the 6" and the 3", so you can use the large one to clean up the big panels around the house quickly, as well as use the small one to take care of the windows on your car, truck, boat, or RV.

PLEASE NOTE: Polishing generates a lot of heat, and can build up very quick. Keep an eye on the temperature, and give the glass ample time to cool off. If care is not taken, thermal shock can occur, and the glass can break.

  • Scratch Doctors accepts PayPal and Wix payments. All orders are processed within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). We do not accept returns or cancellations once an order has shipped, but we do accept exchanges (customer is responsible for shipping charges).

Working with glass is extremely dangerous and is to be done at your own risk. Always put safety first and use a long sleeve shirt, gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection. Please read the information on the FAQ's page, and make sure you understand the process before you start.
